Joker

I finally sat down with the Capullo/Snyder "Death of the Family" arc, primarily due to sitting across from Capullo at Wizard World Austin.

It was brilliant. I'm really loving Snyder's take on the bat-verse, and Capullo is killing it with his pages.  It really felt like a fresh take on the Joker, and that's tough considering there's been two great revisions of him recently (Dark Knight, and Azzarello's Joker).  

I was reading myself to sleep when I noticed Joker's mouth was perfect to house the bat signal in, so I did a quick sketch on my phone, then dragged myself out of bed to realize the concept.

I initially drew a very Nicholson-y Joker, then pulled it towards the New 52 Joker, before landing with a fairly Dark Knight Joker inspired finish. It kind of straddles the line between all three, I think.

I'm sure someone's had to have done this composition, I've just never seen it, so I had to do this
